Microneedling uses fine needles to induce collagen in the scalp and promote hair growth. A medical-grade microneedling device with ultra-fine needles is used to create small micro-injuries on the surface of the scalp. The body then begins to heal these micro-injuries by sending fibroblasts to the treated area notifying the body that it has been injured and needs repair. This process stimulates the body’s own production of growth factors that stimulate stem cells surrounding the hair follicle to make new hairs.

What To Expect During Hair and Scalp Microneedling Treatment
The Aquagold Hair+ Scalp Microneedling treatment is minimally invasive. This means that it involves very little discomfort and does not require patient hospitalization allowing you to return to normal activities following the procedure.
It is recommended to do 1 treatment every 4 weeks for a series of 3 to 6 treatments. The number of sessions may vary depending on the type of hair loss and capillary density. Best results are obtained when you do a full consultation at the Hair Transplant Centre prior to any hair growth treatment to determine which option is best for your type of hair loss.
