The day of the surgery begins with the design of your new hairline by Dr. Kristy Bailey. Taking into consideration the personalized plan that was crafted during your consultation, Dr. Bailey will work with you to design your new hairline. The goal is to create a natural and aesthetically pleasing result that complements your facial features. 

The medical team will prepare you for the procedure, which involves shaving the donor and recipient areas, as well as administering a local anesthetic to numb the donor and recipient areas. The FUE technique  involves individually extracting follicular units (hair follicles) from the donor area, typically located at the back or sides of the scalp. This is done by Dr. Bailey using a specialized punch tool that creates tiny, minimally invasive incisions around each follicular unit.

Once extracted, the individual follicular units are collected and prepared for transplantation. Dr. Bailey then creates small incisions in the recipient area (balding or thinning region) using precise angles and distribution based on the pre-designed hairline. Each follicular unit is delicately implanted into the recipient incisions. The meticulous placement ensures a natural hair growth pattern and density.

After the surgery, you'll receive post-operative care instructions. While there may be some initial redness and swelling, these side effects are generally temporary.
